Minerals in Water

Like the concept of pH balance in the body, there is much confusion and mis-information surrounding the topic of minerals in water.

Unfortunately the minerals in most modern water sources today are not organically-complexed and therefore are without balancing acidic counterparts.  They are not usable by the body or "bio-available".  And due to the increasing depletion of minerals in our soil, it is nearly impossible to obtain balanced full spectrum minerals that are usable by our bodies - even if we are consuming high quality organic foods.  To further the problem, the inorganic minerals prevalent in most water sources today behave like minerals in hard water contributing to arterial plaque and to mineral deposits in joints and other tissues. Further imbalances can result from the consumption of alkaline supplements and excessively alkaline water because they provide minerals in a form that cannot be utilized.

Minerals and proteins are actually more important than vitamins in our diet.  Trace elements are seen as regulators, tending to harmonize the metabolic exchanges that assure normal reaction and function. Their presence endows an organism with the ability of self-restoration of its biochemical equilibrium. Yet vitamins seem to get all of the attention. There are probably many more people taking vitamin supplements rather than minerals and trace minerals than they need, especially after the age of 40. Vitamins however are crucial as well: it is said that they are responsible for activating the minerals we take.

Mineral Depletion

Chronic mineral depletion is increasingly widespread and is becoming a serious concern among alternative health practitioners and many allopathic health practitioners.  Chronic low intake of magnesium is not only extremely common but linked to several disease states, indicating the importance of considering both overt physical symptoms and the presence of other diseases and conditions when determining magnesium status.

Magnesium deficiency can lead to the following symptoms and conditions:

Nervous System

  • Behavioral disturbances

  • Irritability and anxiety

  • Lethargy

  • Impaired memory and cognitive function

  • Anorexia or loss of appetite

  • Nausea and vomiting

Muscular System

  • Weakness

  • Muscle spasms (tetany)

  • Tics

  • Muscle cramps

  • Hyperactive reflexes

  • Impaired muscle coordination (ataxia)

  • Tremors

  • Involuntary eye movements and vertigo

  • Difficulty swallowing

  • Increased intracellular calcium

  • Hyperglycemia

  • Calcium deficiency

  • Potassium deficiency

  • Seizures

Cardiovascular System

  • Irregular or rapid heartbeat

  • Coronary spasms

Ocean Plasma - minerals in their most natural, potent form

Ocean Plasma is a living mineral serum drawn from pristine areas of the ocean that adds all 92 essential elements back to water in perfect proportion.  It is the ultimate and most potent and bio-available mineral/salt supplement on the planet. Because these minerals are suspended in living water, their natural source, they are carried into the cells directly and are gentle yet highly therapeutic and easily assimilated by the body.

Ocean Plasma - a powerful therapy to restore pH balance

The German Physician, Ropffer, investigated a variety of changes in internal terrain following the oral use of Ocean Plasma.  He repeatedly noted changes in the body's pH balance:

...for hyperacid organisms, a dramatic decrease in acid values has been recorded.  It can there fore be stated that in case of a systemic inconstant acidity, a cure of drinkable ocean water causes the normal acidity to be recovered.  In particular for gastritis due to dietary errors or alcohol and nicotine abuse, remarkable results have been obtained.
